Members’ meetings are a great way for the MA to connect with its membership and find out what’s happening on the ground.
We’ve rejigged the format of the meetings to give people more opportunities to network and explore new spaces and exhibitions.
The first meeting takes place at Doncaster Museum and Art Gallery on 29 April. The meeting will start in late afternoon with an interactive session on the MA’s policy priorities, particularly its flagship initiative Museums Change Lives.
In the evening there’ll be drinks, nibbles and a chance to chat to MA staff and other members. Tours of the galleries will also be available, including a chance to check out the museum’s new temporary exhibition on Doncaster-born artist Edgar Holloway.
The second meeting will be held at the recently revamped Colchester Castle on 13 May, with a similar late-afternoon timetable. Attendees will have an opportunity to tour the new galleries and redeveloped spaces at the castle.
Members’ meetings are free to attend and open to all individual and institutional MA members.
